A Flesh Perspective began the way many meaningful things do—quietly, in the small spaces of everyday life. What started as a simple curiosity grew roots, deep and steady, until it became a craft with a heartbeat of its own.

I’m Lisa—maker, mother, and the hands behind every bar. In our home, skin tells many stories. We are a diverse family with different textures, tones, and needs. Some of us need gentleness. Some need deep moisture. Some need simplicity. All of us need care.

So, I turned to the earth. To oils that nourish. To clays that cleanse. To botanicals that soothe. To ingredients that ask for nothing but respect and give so much in return.

AFP Soaps was born from that intention: to create products that honor the body, protect the skin, and stay true to the natural world they come from.

Every batch is crafted slowly, thoughtfully guided by curiosity, shaped by purpose, and grounded in the belief that what we put on our skin should feel like an act of care.

This is more than soap. It’s a practice. A connection. A way of tending to ourselves and each other.
